What is target shooting?

Since the 16th century, the basic idea of pistol shooting has remained the same. The fundamentals of shooting a flintlock muzzle-loader, almost 400 years ago, is virtually identical to shooting a modern pistol today. The skills and concepts are timeless and the personal satisfaction derived from successfully combining experience, technique and concentration to hit a target at a distance, is hard to beat.

Everyone starts as a beginner. There are no shortcuts. It is satisfying not because it is easy. It is challenging and requires discipline, commitment, dedication and self control. No matter how  much you improve, there is always more to learn and ways to improve.

The target of anything in life should be to do it so well that it becomes art.
