Sunday, January 11, 2026 — Georgetown Revolver Club (GRC)
Sharpen close-quarters shotgun skills in a focused, hands-on course taught by Dave Burke (CFO-certified instructor; longtime GRC trainer 2012–2017). This practical, safety-first course covers handling, loading/reloads, malfunctions, movement, target acquisition, and live-fire coaching.
IMPORTANT — eligibility & spots
Open only to GRC full members and special invited guests from clubs we’ve previously trained/competed with.
CSSA membership required — you must be a current, valid CSSA member and be able to provide your CSSA Membership Number when asked.
Range capacity is limited: maximum 10 people; normally kept to 8. The club may run a second course only if there is clear demand.
Equipment & ammo (required)
12- or 20-gauge pump-action tactical shotgun, or pump action with barrel ≤ 24"
100 rounds of 7.5 birdshot + 10 rounds of double-buckshot
Eye & ear protection
Proof of CSSA membership
Completed club waiver before range work
Fee & registration
$200 deposit (paid in advance) to secure your spot. Full payment will be required to confirm the reservation — deposits/payments reduce cancellations.

Cancellation/refund decisions will be made in consultation with GRC Executive.
Notes
We’re fortunate to have Dave back — his shotgun course is both fun and highly informative. The course may fill quickly so there might be another one later in the year if there is demand.
All participants must follow GRC safety rules and complete the safety brief and waiver.
